I suppose we can ask ourselves why our neighbors would like to know the intricacies of our laundering systems? Perhaps the dishwasher is a more efficient method for laundering clothes? Should this knowledge be kept secret?

To attribute or not attribute, that is the question. Should every bit of text have inherent the possibility to be traced back to its creator, or should we allow for those who had no meaningful hand in the texts creation to take ownership of texts and distribute them as they see fit?

Copyright has extended itself into the biological realm, should we allow it to extend further?

"You and I" are for these intents and purposes pieces of text, strings of information which when read express who we are. Should another text have the option to copy and paste a piece of me into their own book? Or should we instead copyright ourselves? Locking ourselves into a static text? Forcing stability? Stability is an illusion. Forcing it's appearance only increases the magnitude of destruction when the structure eventually crashes.

Common Sense??
