This is key: Sometimes, people's thoughts and expectations have to change... whether they like it or not. We changed our thoughts and expectations when we switched from bikes and carriages to cars. Actually, quite a few businesses manage to do exactly that, mainly by offering something the customer does want, and thereby forcing them to accept things they may not want (you might be surprised how well that particular business strategy works).
