Let's just say that my speed, around 45 paperback pages an hour (in Dutch and English, 30 in German), is considered to be very much above average in the Netherlands.
Still, it doesn't allow me to read 200 books a year, because 200 books of 300 pages would cost me 3.6 hours a day. You, and others, must be either fast to the extreme, or have much more time to spend reading than I do; I certainly haven't got 3-4 hours a day to spend reading, not even when including public transport
