The only remaining question is about the Berimbau.
It is a Brazilian musical instrument. It consists of a long wooden bow with a steel string and an emptied gourd attached to it. To play it, you strike the string with a small stick. You most often see it used in the practice of the Afro-Brazilian martial art Capoeira. It sets the tempo of the movements.
