If so, you're not alone. I am completely dysfunctional when it comes to touch screens. My phone has multi-touch capabilities but I can't manage it - I can just barely handle the basic tap. I initially thought it was a device-specific issue until I tried several other types of touch screen devices - including ereaders - and discovered that the problem is actually me. Capacitive, resistive, IR... doesn't matter what type of screen, I totally fail at using them. It's become something of a joke among my friends.
