I have also made the mistake of formatting my Nook instead of my sd card. One moment everything was fine and then it wasn't. I've tried installing images to my Nook but its stuck on the rooted forever scree, none of the restores are working.

Edit---
I've found my backup image but it says Install Failed: Please power off and back on. I do this but it says the same thing. It shows up for a few seconds in device manager right after I power it on but the device id is wrong, USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_B&N&PROD_EBOOK_DISK&REV_0100\1122 3344556677&0. And then it disconnects in a few seconds.
