The first Mac, it was said, was to be sold like a toaster. Take it home and plug it in and use it right out the box. Apple stuff is always easy to use and easy to look at. PCs back then were klunky gadgets in comparrison. Blackberries the same compared to the iPhone when it was released.

All the Apple bashing in this thread doesn't change the facts that 30 million people chose their phone and 9.5 million bought an iPad over that last 13 weeks.

When I think of all the times a devout Apple knocker told me that Apple is going broke I have a little chuckle. For those that make a song and dance over the fact they haven't given a cent to Apple, keep up the brave fight. Don't buy on principle and hold your head up high so when people point out that Apple makes the world's biggest profits selling the world's most popular gadgets you can say with strong conviction "I didn't give 'em a cent".
