Help Using Calibre Comic Processing for Kindle 3--Images Don't Fill Screen

Hi All--I am attempting to use Calibre to convert series of comic images (in CBR/CBZ format) to MOBI format for viewing on my Kindle 3 Keyboard. I'm having a little trouble with the process and was hoping you all could help me out.

After I convert, the result is a MOBI file that is viewable on my Kindle. However, all the image files are slightly too small for the screen, with white space on the left/right as well as on the bottom. I had hoped for the images to be fit to the height of the Kindle, filling the screen. Currently I need to zoom in on each individual page as I am reading in order to fit to height.

Is there a way to convert to MOBI format using comic book processing so that the images are fit to the height of the screen? I am using "Keep Aspect Ratio" under Comic Input, and I have Page Setup set to Default input profile and Kindle output profile.

I've tried the following:

- in Comic Input, turning off 'Keep Aspect Ratio'
- in Comic Input, setting 'Override Image Size' to 600x800 pixels in comic input settings
- in MOBI Output, turning on 'Ignore Margins'

None of these seem to have any effect, and the images remain too small for the screen.

Thanks for your help.
