not exactly, but your idea is very good. One could easily move a usbkey, flashcard or ext hdd, between (in our case, two) computers that have calibre installed supporting separate ereader devices.
i want calibre to have the ability to rescan it's Own library for changes. It does, but does not accept the changes, its see them as errors.
