I hope you realise that a faulty cable would be just as faulty no matter who made the device that is plugged into the other end, right?
Whether it's a hugely proprietary lock-in system designed to track your activities so that they can target increasingly precise adverts at you while restricting what you do with the books you buy ... or whether it's something else.
