Amazon's Kindle shop is just soo much better than what you get from Sony. Don't get me wrong, Sony is trying hard, but it has been around a lot longer than Amazon and it has been a global corporation for decades, yet their in-store experience is very very parochial.
I find this most unfortunate. Sony has the potential to be a true competitor with Amazon, even surpassing them. But the truth is that e-Readers and bookstores probably donät make a dent in Sony's accounting figures, hence they are treated likewise.

Well said. I really like my Sony 350 & T1. BUT I seldom shop in the Sony Store or use the software. Buying books via Amazon for my Kindle is so much easier that at times I find myself reading with my KT more than with my T1 or 350.
