They should market the heck out of that feature.
The need for "Global" type rollup displays is going to be lower than a cheap/light ruggedized outdoors-readable display. The vertical/industrial markets would go ape for something like that. Maybe even the military. And they would make great user interfaces for factory-floor devices where refresh rate doesn't much matter.
Ideally, they'd want color (which would be a fit for k-6 ereaders!) but a lot of apps can use it as is today.
They just need to kick the futurists to the side and just look at what people are doing *today* in the factory floor and industrial mobility markets.
I think the're demo-ing it to the wrong people.
