apples and oranges

If the PHugger replaced a PRS-505 with a Kindle 3 3G, I'm not surprised the new one seems better.

Apples and oranges, I say. I geuss Phugger dosn't realize that a K3 3G is, like 3K generations better than the old ereader and it isn't even the only new gen ereader out there.

I use a T1 and it allows me to wirelessly get books from at least a dozen different sources which I've tried, most of which are commercial. I need to have wifi access to do it 'cause the T1 ain't got 3G.

If 3G is the killer argument, ok, but then it's still apples and oranges because the K3 3G costs more.

So if people want to bind themselves to THE ONE AND ONLY AMAZON just because they're not at home enough to do their ebook shopping from there, hey fine with me.

Ever since my falling out with lots of publisher's DRM policy, my T1 is turning into a very low, lower, lowest budget ereader indeed.
