I've used both Flickr and Picasa, although as Harry points out ,uploading to this site would probably be the best solution when possible since it means you're links remain valid regardless of whether you kill off your external accounts or not.

BTW with Picasa, so long as you keep your images below 800x800, it doesn't count towards your quota
