Blood Red Moon by Jane Fancher is an unusual vampire story, about a vampire who has lived long enough (his journals go back to pre-Roman times) to develop morals. Some of it takes place in Transylvania (of course) and some in Seattle. It may be a bit long for some tastes, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. And there will be a sequel to it sometime -soon I hope. You can find it over at ClosedCircle.net for sure, maybe at Amazon and others.
