I hate to jinx myself, but so far, I haven't had any problems at all. I am not a heavy user -- just a before-bedtime or lazy Saturday afternoon reader. Got my Cybook in the first NAEB batch, upgraded to the new firmware without a hitch, AND I read in bed without the cover on!

I like the super light nature of the beast, and the cover just bugs me in bed. During the day I keep the cover on. I too have worried when I saw some of the problems people have had, but for me, so far so good.
