how the heck do you put George RR Martin on hold?
although A Feast For Crows was a disappointment compared to the first three books it was quite readable
A Dance With Dragons also did not compare to the first three books in the series but it was quite a good story - almost as a stand alone
reading My Man Jeeves by PG Wodehouse
mainly because i recently did the CM7 thing with my nook color and along with calibre i can put just about anything on my ereader now

Which means it's written entirely in first-person, with long periods of descriptive or introspective narration, and a supernatural plot device (in this case a ghost) which makes very few appearances. I also saw the ending coming a mile away. Not that Victorian era horror novels are bad, but for a book written in 1983 I expected more scares.
