Just to add to the good advice you've already been given ....

It's true that there are a vast number of free public-domain books available. The downside is that many of them are full of typographical errors, poor punctuation and sub-standard formatting.

This is no reflection on the people who convert and proofread these books. They are, after all, all volunteers, and they work very hard. Also, not all such books are so badly done. There are many that are as good as commercial publications, but they are very much the exception.

But it is something you need to be aware of.
