Pressure on the wrong place, and they break. You seem to be taking a great deal of care not to break yours.

My last breakage occurred with my CyBook in it's (closed) case, in my hand, when I fell over on some ice. I didn't drop the CyBook, but I still managed to break it by holding the case too tightly.

With the glass substrate, the wrong pressure or especially a twisting force will shatter the glass.
