Yeah actually turning WiFi back on (if it's fully set to off) is something it shouldn't be doing. The ads I could still see changing if they are coded with an expiration time, or set to change after a specific interval.
If WiFi is turning on though I would let Amazon know so they can look into it.

If it keeps happening I will. I am watching my K4 closely. Keeping a log. It froze once then this mysterious WiFi issue started and now the left page next button sometimes doesn't respond and take two to three tries but the right page next works fine.
