I just finished reading Magic Slays and I enjoyed it a lot. I've decided that Kate Daniels is pretty close to Harry Dresden in her inability to keep her mouth shut when agitated. Though Harry wins in the quality snarky remark department, Kate's a close second. Perhaps that's the reason that I like the series? Anyway, I'm now starting to read the 2nd novel in the II AM Trilogy, Blood Hunt by Christopher Buecheler.
