After reconverting (.mobi to .mobi) I am trying to save the files to disc. This gives me two new files. a .mobi and a .original_mobi so far so good.

My confusion arises because it looks like the changes to the metadata have been saved in the .original_mobi file rather than the .mobi

Surely this cannot be right? What am I doing wrong? All I want it one .mobi file with the series metadata saved properly.

Thanks
Calibre auto saves.
STD is for external disks (devices)
_original is what it started out as (just in case ) ,after a same format conversion.
