Exactly. I thought $9.99 was a good price for a new book from a top of the line publisher. At $12.99 and $14.99 I had to seriously rethink what I was spending money on. I went from buying new full-price books regularly to buying once or twice a year. Instead I'm looking at freebies, older books and independents.
