Or, how about trying to open a *really* big technical document?

There are pdfs and there are pdfs, after all.
A mostly-text pdf can be readily read on a 301 or 360; but the kind of scientific or academic texts some folks keep trying to shoehorn onto eink readers and bargain android hardware barely work on SOA quadcore Tablets. I've seen some that make netbooks cry.

Expectations need to be tempered, expecially when it comes to opening 40-50Mb PDFs on devices with 512MB RAM.
