I could be wrong, but doesn't Android in general have trouble with cut, copy, and paste?

The Galaxy Note PatNY mentioned has a stylus, which is a feature I really like.

The Philadelphia Free Library has several of the Magic Treehouse books as both kindle and Adobe epubs: http://freelibrary.lib.overdrive.com...rchID=58313206. Out of state residents can get a library card from them for $35 a year.
