But the books that are out there might not be the ones you want... If you're into glomming back lists of single title authors, there's not much out there unless the author is currently really hot. If they're not hot at the moment, you either won't find any of their backlist past a few years, or if you do, it will be in strange icky formats.
On the otherhand, if category is your thing, go for it.
Also - if you're into the whole book-swapping aspect of romance reading culture, e-books are currently not so good - DRM gets in the way!
