I voted the upgrade when there is a serious advance option.... I'm sorely tempted by the touch screen ereaders, but will probably take forever to decide which one I'd actually buy, then just keep my Kindle 3 anyway. If it still works just fine, there's no really good reason to upgrade, it's not like the latest generation are much of an advance (if any)!
