It depends on the comic.
Most classic Disney comics are very nice and readable (see

Marvel have often many things written, so there are small fonts. See, for example,

Japanese mangas... depends. Usually they have big fonts so they are quite readable... unless you're just like me, still studying Japanese characters so having difficulties remembering how to read 万歳 (banzai) even when written bigger like a page!
