This is how I have been trying to do it:
1. I highlighted all the books in the Calibre Library.
2. Clicked on the small arrow right side of Convert Books.
3. Selected Create a Catalogue.
4. In the two tabs that pop up I selected CSV as my Catalogue Format,
when I select this the second tab changes to CSV/XML Options.
5. In Catalogue Title, I typed Title and Author, which is all that I want.

When I open the CSV file it comes up in Excel and shows all the listings information and not just the Titles and Authors.
What am I doing wrong?. Any help will be appreciated.
There are CSV Catalog format options on the second tab for which fields to include.

Excel or Open Office Calc is fairly easy to learn. Print Preview lets yo see the proposed output.
