I have had a lifelong passion regarding history, particularly naval history. But I did study history in my upper school years and that course IMHO was far superior to the curriculum taught for those years (year 11-12) currently.

What has not improved any is the teaching of the history of Australia. We have a rich history here and it is a great shame a lot of it is not taught to high school students.
