I suppose you might mean you want to rename each file as say Section0001, Section0002, ... deleting whatever name was there before, and possibly appending a letter or aborting if one of the names already exists. Maybe even prompt for the prefix to add to the numbers (which we probably should keep at the end to avoid anything over-fancy), or take the name part from the first entry (but that gets a bit more tricky).

some name are OMG long, I typically use 3 to 4 chars to describe the file:
ded,pro,epi,rave,p01c03 (part 1 chapter 3),copy
The ability to select a range , select a prefix and have it number 1 to n
If supplying a start number (defaults to 1) would not be too difficult (like the Manage series PI in Calibre does)
