Need opinions on the Panditigal Novel 7" color
I have a PRS-505 and love it. When I purchased it, I thought I would have no need for a color screen. I don't read magazines and have no kids young enough for picture books.
However, I have decided that a color screen would be nice for instructional books and videos
I borrow from the library so I don't need wi-fi, complicated apps or book store connections.
I've been looking at the Pandigital Novel 7" with color screen. I hear complaints about the resistive touch screen being difficult. Is this so or not so? Must the pages be turned via the touch screen? In other words, there are no buttons as a secondary choice for navigating on it?
Anyone here who has had experience with this model, especially with reading books or watching videos on it? If so, what do you think about it for these uses?
Does it play nice with Calibre? Can you side-load videos onto it?
