Today's KDP Select exclusive-or-else slushpile trawl has nothing Relevant To My Interests, although the romance and possibly the thriller readers will probably be happy. And it looks like the Christian fiction folks get something, too.

Without further ado:

This Jennifer Stevenson may or may not be the same as the homonymous chick-lit comedic romantic urban fantasy writer who's a member of the Book View Cafe author consortium and print-published by Random House. However, one of the "three sexy short stories" blurbs does say "Jewish sex magic", so it might well be her: Ear Candy

Barbara Samuel is apparently a RITA award-finalist author, and has stories included in Bell Bridge Books and Signet anthologies. She offers a contemporary romance which seems to have been originally written under the pseudonym Ruth Wind: Jezebel's Blues

Judy Powell offers a 2005 Lyons paperback-published contemporary romance: Hot Summer

Paul Bishop has been print-published by Tor, among others, since at least the mid-90s. He offers a police procedural mystery/thriller, part of the Walker/Tamino LAPD series: Hot Pursuit

Small press published fellow MR member author Libby Fischer Hellman offers a collection of short stories: Nice Girl Does Noir Vol. 2 Still free: Vol. 1

David Toussaint is a columnist theatre critic for EDGE, previously employed by some Conde Nast magazines, who's also the author of the Ballantine-published Gay and Lesbian Weddings: Planning the Perfect Same-Sex Ceremony. That does not happen to be the free book he offers, which instead is a memoir: Toussaint!

If you have or know young kids with scientific ambitions, perhaps you might want to pick up this illustrated children's book for them: Maybe I'll Be A Marine Biologist When I Grow Up

This guy apparently tried to build and fly his own replica Spitfire. I am including his book because I like aviation and historical recreationism and it does look interesting: Birth of a Spitfire

This one, frankly, I am including for the lulz, because behind that staid gold-embossed plain green cover lurks a comedy goldmine: The Scottish Buddhist Cookbook I don't know what recreational pharmaceuticals this author may be on, but clearly they've got a direct line to the good supply.

And that's everyone whose name/publisher was recognizable or turned out to have decent verifiable credentials on their author page. Save for those last three.
