I used to do all my reading on a kindle and loved it for fiction. Non fiction with graphs, maps etc was a very frustrating experience. Since getting the iPad I've not used the kindle at all, I love the versatility of having my books, music, movies etc all sitting in my lap. I don't have any problem with tired eyes but do find the size a bit off putting after being used to the small kindle but realistically it's no bulkier than a large hardback.
