I went back to phone reading

From a Sony PRS350. I started reading on my Palm. . .um100? You know, that first ugly little cheapie PDA they put out, Worked my way up to a Treo. The screen was barely adequate on the Treo for reading, the PDA's weren't too bad but their time in the sun was over.

So I bought a Sony PRS300 and then a 350 and was reasonably happy with my reading options (except for non text pages) When I got an Android phone with a 4 inch screen it wasn't for reading, but I tried the Kobo app first, then the B&N, and the Amazon.

Pretty nice reading device. The screen is big enough even for (not too detailed) non text pages. (I'm in my early 60's and I don't have much problem with the text or page image of any sort). I still have the PRS350, but I don't use it much. I like the large number of purchase options my Droid offers me for books.

I might look into a Kindle Fire at some point mostly for technical reference books and some other entertainment options, but I doubt I'd give up reading on my Droid. It's always with me and just too convenient for those 'down time' moments.
