Is anyone using a Timbuk2 sleeve (or "envelope," as the company calls them)? Does it provide adequate protection? I initially thought I was going to get a Kindle Keyboard but at the last minute I changed my mind and purchased up a Sony. I had bought a
Timbuk2 sleeve ahead of getting a device because I didn't want my reader to arrive before I had anything to protect it. It arrived a day or so ago, and I'm still waiting on my reader.
But although I love the materials and the color, I'm not sure it's padded enough to protect the reader and now I'm considering a case instead. I guess I will know when the device arrives whether I'm satisfied. I'm also concerned that I may want a tighter fit for the device than the sleeve I have can provide. I like this color best of all the choices and none of the other sleeve colors really excite me, but I'm more concerned about protection over style.
I don't use leather products, so some of the choices at Timbuk2 and elsewhere are out for me. This thread has been very helpful, BTW.
