For the lulz: Random Romance Novel Title Generator. I bet some of these are probably actually in Harlequin's catalogue or will be soon.

Also, people are probably already doing this, but Harlequin and Mills & Boon's novella-length free online reads pages are a good way to quickly sample an unknown author's work to see if their plots fall apart or they have too much pointless relationship drama or gratuitous sex for one's tastes. And the stories are generally ones that tie in to the authors' established series, as well.

I'll be browsing through the Historical and Suspense sections to see if any authors match up to the more interesting-but-iffy listings the sale catalogue. It looks like they've got an Elizabeth Lane wild western, so I can check to see if I like how she does her stories before I spring for her aviation tale recommended above.

And of course, there's always the promo sites Try Harlequin and Everyone's Reading (no new stuff, but at least they've put the old books back even if they make you register to download them now) with the freebie e-book downloads. It looks like they've added ePub for even the non-English works as well, if anyone wants to practice their Spanish or French.
