I don't have that exact Tuff-Luv case, but I have the similar one made from hemp (this one: http://tuff-luv.com/eco-nique-natura...e-of-life.html). I've never had any problem accessing the buttons/ports/stylus. While it's gladly never had to take any really hard falls, it fell once hitting the floor on its' corner while in the case. The reader survived without any damage and still works today.

It fell on the corner where the the stylus is, so the stylus came loose a little bit and took some minor damage to its' paintwork, but that survived the fall without any other damage as well. I think the stylus would have come loose in the same way with any case that allowed free normal access to it.

Edit: And yes, the cover of the hemp one at least can be folded all the way to the back. The pocket in the inside front of the case is useful as well.
