I have "bought" nearly 1300 ebooks in the 4 years I have been using ebooks. Of that number about 200 cost more than $2.99, and about 50 cost more than $10. Of the 50, 40 are nonfiction.
Of the books that cost $2.99 or less, about 200 cost 99 cents to $2.99; the rest were free.
I currently have 546 ebooks on my Sony 950 of which 58 cost 99 cents or more and the rest were free. I have 172 ebooks waiting to be loaded onto the Sony of which 5 cost between 99 cents and $2.99 and none cost more.
