I think you're probably right, but I'd take recharging once a week over once every three weeks if it meant doubling the pixel density. Besides, now that I use WiFi for hours on end, I find that it eats the battery charge like nobody's business. Giving a little more to the display wouldn't make much difference to the time between charges.
