) Pretty much everything you ask about has been covered in more detail, so you will get more info by browsing existing info than by posting dozens of small questions. The top of the page has the major sub-forums well-labeled, including ones for content (direct book downloads as well as linksto other sources that you asked about), software/format conversions, accessories, troubleshooting, etc. And there's a wiki as well for the basic information you want.
BTW, Sony's ebook store has lots of Turtledove books,many in bundles.
