I agree that swipe to turn is kind of a pain...however, the Kindle's tap to turn I find to be way better than the K3 physical buttons.

I had a K3 and sold it to fund the Touch. I only read novels. No pdfs, no taking notes, no web browsing, no bookmarks, etc. I like not having the keyboard, I like touch to turn pages and I like the smaller form factor. The new lighted cover is a bonus as I like it much better.
