A full subscription to the Times does make the most sense if you live in the greater New York City area. I expect that the majority of people who will go for this Nook offer live there.

I sense some kind of low-level hostility towards the New York Times in this thread that goes beyond politics. If someone wants to slam them for the new $2.50 weekday newsstand price, go ahead. And there are some foreign news gaps because of budget cuts. But as someone who reads a bunch of papers off and on (mostly via Calibre), this one is still the best.
