Just finished the novella Ghosts of a Beach Town in Winter by Kathleen Valentine. The setting of this was quite good but the major characters changed pretty drastically over 70 pages which seemed too fast for me.

I know with a novella you have less words to move from A to B, but I feel that if you can't do it naturally in 70 pages, then maybe the story needed more pages.

Still it wasn't too bad. It was basically a ghost story/romance and although I had picked most of it almost immediately I enjoyed reading it.
