Developers basically have to root their devices. That's part of development. You don't just code something in a sandbox, load it to the App Store and THEN do your testing. That's Not How It Works. So making an announcement that you want to curry favor with developers, and making a forum to do so, and THEN realizing that "oh, crap, they're rooting their devices!" is fail fail fail.

Similarly, when you go around saying that you're going to provide identical reading experiences to people, or that you're going to use a format that can be read on all devices, or some such nonsense.

PEOPLE! Talk to your engineers before you say this stuff. Not hard! You think we're just here for our sexy good looks? We're more than a pretty face.
