For the moment I have 4, count 'em, 4 e-readers in front of me. My borked Kindle 3 that I haven't sent in yet (the problem's not with the screen), the replacement Kindle Keyboard that just arrived, my T1, and my wife's T1.

The Kindle Keyboard's black is a touch darker than everybody else's, and the whites rank like this:

Whites: [dark] K3 --> My T1 --> Wife's T1 --> KK [light]

The Kindle Keyboard does seem to just have a better screen than the others, including the less-than-a-year-old Kindle 3 that should theoretically be its clone. I don't know if the K3's being a few months older is a factor or not.

The two T1s are close enough that I wouldn't have noticed a difference if I didn't have them side by side, and subjectively they both look good.
