But that might still be interesting, do you see an actual total size to the drive? Or 0? You seem to be able to access it, and I assume it's correctly showing up as a FAT32 drive?
As for the ads, my guess would be after the first reset to factory defaults, because nothing should alter that in those hacks. But if it happened earlier, that might have been a clue (or not, I'm not familiar at all with SO devices).
