Yes, I do power off my Kobo. When I put it to sleep it used to consume a lot more power. Turning it off consumes no power. Of course it has been a while since I put it sleep instead of turning it off. Perhaps the newer versions of firmware don't consume power when in sleep mode? But if that were the case, what is the difference between sleep mode and powering off?
