I updated my desktop and touch 2 days ago when I hauled my computer and touch to my sister's place to connect to high speed and I am really regretting it. The screen looks crowded and I have the problem with very slow response to touches, including where I have to tap the screen in a blank spot to make the first tap do what it is supposed to. And when you tap the HELP button why does the store come up first? The slider at the bottom of my library takes forever to move to where I try slide it. Typing in the name in the search takes longer too.
My computer desktop, now that I am back at home on dialup takes a long time to load the recommended books and of course it has to do this before it downloads any books. I did try the Adobe download version of my ebooks but a few did not have the option and some of them came through with poor formatting and a pain to read. I am debating going back to 14 on the touch if I can and am hoping that the next firmware update fixes all these hassles. I just won't buy any more books from Kobo till then. I found 14 to be close to what I figured was perfect for me and this is just a step back.
