Simon and Schuster to Release 5,000 books for Kindle

LOS ANGELES - Amazon.com said today that publisher Simon & Shuster will make 5,000 more books available electronically for the Amazon Kindle, bumping to 125,000 the number of titles available for the wireless device that lets users download and read books.
The announcement came ahead of an address by Amazon.com Chief Executive Jeff Bezos at the BookExpo America convention in Los Angeles.

The news release concerns the Kindle but you'd have to guess the books would be released in other formats, too.
